C. ‘Bowles Mauve’ is a medium sized shrub growing to about 1.0 m in height by 60cm in width. It has an abundance of deep mauve flowers in late winter and early spring. It will grow in full sun to part shade and is tolerant of moderate frosts. Like most perennials it responds well to an annual prune and feed with Osmocote after flowering.
Chierianthus, or Wall Flowers as they are commonly known, are floriferus, easy to grow shrubs that are happy in a wide range of conditions.
