‘Huntingdon Carpet’ is a spreading Rosemary with grey green foliage to less than 25cm high and 2m wide.  The foliage is highly aromatic and is mixed with masses of lovely sky blue flowers from early winter to mid spring.  ‘Huntingdon Carpet’ likes full sun, good drainage and plenty of air movement and are hardy and tolerant of most frosts and extended dry periods.  Feed with Osmocote Outdoor Trees and Shrubs plus a dose of gypsum or dolomite lime in spring and if it gets a bit large then prune back to size prior to feeding.

Rosmarinus  ‘Huntingdon Carpet’ is one of the many Rosemaries from the United States to be released during the late nineties.  As a groundcover it makes a good mass planting or can be grown over banks, walls and terraces.  It will hang down from a large tub and makes an interesting underplanting for standard roses.  Plant with Lavenders, Penstemons and Salvias to get a year round, coloUrful garden.
